Born and raised in Lyon, the Gastronomy Capital of France, wine and cuisine were never simply pleasures — they were a way of life, shared around the table as expressions of culture, tradition, and connection.
From Engineering to the World of Wine — A Journey of Precision and Passion
My path first led me to chemical engineering where I developed the rigor, precision, and careful planning, that still guide every bespoke journey I design today. But the analytical mind always coexisted with a deep curiosity about the sensory world. I later pursued formal wine education, trained under a French sommelier, where technical knowledge evolved into a true sensory experience, a language of terroir and history poured into a glass.
Thirty Countries, One Revelation
Visiting more than 30 countries and discovering the diverse cultures and traditions, I came to understand what makes travel truly meaningful: authenticity, human connection, and a profound sense of place. The most unforgettable moments were always the intimate ones — the winemaker who reached into his private cellar for a bottle saved for the right occasion, the chef who leaned in and shared the secret behind his most beloved dish, the long lunches that dissolved into golden afternoons with no desire to be anywhere else. These were the moments that showed me how wine and travel are inseparable — each one telling the deeper story of a place.
